“Thank God for Sinners”
{1Cor 1.1-9}

We can often idealize and think that the early church has some kind of special sauce that we don’t have. We read about accounts of thousands being converted, but fail to mash that truth together with the strife we read in the rest of the New Testament letters.

Have you spent time reflecting on the fact that God has placed you at Christ the Redeemer as part of your growth in Christ-likeness? And this does not simply come from attending a Sunday worship service. It happens when you have people over to your house, go to a movie together, pray together, share together.

There is a lot of miraculous things that can happen if we open ourselves up to one another to receive from God. We each bring gifts to this fellowship and family.

Go through the Annual Self-Reflection Questionnaire together as a group.

Spend time talking about how you can help each other over the next month move closer to God and closer to each other.

What practical steps will you take this week to accomplish that type of community and sanctification?
