What to Expect
Each Sunday we gather together at 10:30 am to worship God in singing, praying, hearing, taking the Lord’s Supper, and being sent out as servants to the world. We have people from several different backgrounds and welcome anyone who wants to know more about Jesus and grow in a relationship with him.
Liturgical worship service — follows the biblical story: Creation → Fall → Redemption → Consummation
Weekly communion (Lord’s Supper) — part of every gathering
Worship centered on Scripture — singing, prayer, preaching, and participation
Biblical preaching — directly from God’s Word
Simple, reverent music — led by piano, guitar, and voices (no stage lights or production effects)
Congregational singing — where the whole church participates together
A welcoming community — made up of people from many different backgrounds
A clear focus on Jesus Christ — His Gospel, and being sent out to serve the world
No dress code — come as you are, whether casual or dressy
Families worship together — children present in the service
Nursery available (ages 0–3) — before the service begins
Children’s Church (ages 4–6) — offered after the first couple of songs
Service begins at 10:30 am — ends around noon

If you’d like to see a little of how our service looks, you can view our livestream on our YouTube Channel. We broadcast our services at 10:30am on Sundays, and you can catch the replays at any time.
Every week we gather to praise the beauty and worth and love of God as displayed in Jesus Christ by the power of the Spirit.
Please take a look at how we order ourselves to worship our Creator and Redeemer by downloading our Order of Worship below.
You can listen to our Spotify playlist below to see what kind of music we use in worship. Take a listen and become familiar with what we sing. You can also subscribe to the playlist as we update it! If nothing else, we pray it edifies you and points you to Jesus.

Christ the Redeemer is a Christian church and member of the Southern Baptist Convention in cooperation with our local Greenville Baptist Association. As such, we invite the public to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. In an effort to make our service known and welcomed to the public, we periodically take pictures at our events. If you would not like to have your picture posted on our social media platforms or website, please contact us at communications@redeemergreenville.com.
