Matthew Wireman

Matt serves as the Program Director for Christian Studies Online at North Greenville Univeristy’s while also serving as one of Redeemer’s Elders. Originally from Kentucky, Matt has found a few favorite hangout spots around Greenville, namely Unlocked Coffee, The Trappe Door, and Falls Park. He enjoys reading, horticulture, hiking, and embarking on memorable family trips with his wife Ashley and three daughters and son ages 16, 14, 12, and 10.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at The University of Louisville, then his MDiv in Biblical and Theological Studies and PhD in Systematic Theology and Patristics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In 2017, Matt, along with his wife Ashley, planted Redeemer in September of 2017 from a bi-weekly Bible Study. What he loves most about Redeemer today is its faith-filled and earnest people, and the loving and supportive community found here.

Russell serves in administration at Greenville Classical Academy, where he also teaches Bible. He’s originally from Greenville, specifically Northern Greenville county. Russell and wife Katie have three children Kendra, Eli, and Anna Kate. He holds a BA in Christian Studies from North Greenville University and earned both his M.Div. and Ph.D. in Apologetics from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
His draw to Redeemer Church came from its commitment to historic Christian beliefs and Baptist convictions, and he appreciates the atmosphere of reverent and inviting worship. Ultimately, Russell's love for Redeemer centers around the people and the sense of community they share.

Originally from Chicago, Darrell and his family moved to Greenville during the pandemic. As an admission counselor, he brings his passion for guiding others to Redeemer Church. Darrell's love for community is evident in his favorite hangouts, including Travinia and local coffee shops.
With a Master of Divinity from BJU, Darrell balances his professional pursuits with hobbies like reading, outdoor cooking like smoking pork & beef, and DIY projects. He discovered Redeemer upon moving to Greenville with his family, and what he cherishes most about the church is its strong sense of community and camaraderie among its people.
