“Your Days Are Numbered”
{Lamentations 4}

Read Lamentations 4.13-16 out loud. Consider the call to be holy priests in service to God. Let the questions below guide your discussion:

  1. What do you find yourself wanting to pursue instead of God? Why do you gravitate toward these specific things? What would it look like to find fulfilment in God instead of these things that will leave you unfulfilled?

  2. Do you find yourself pursuing holiness? In what areas of your life could you make more of an effort to pursue holiness, and what practical steps would you take to do so?

  3. Why is it so hard to put others first? Where are areas you could do this better in your own life?

  4. What does it look like to live as an exile in your context? (work, school, family, etc.)
